Abstract

The aim to the study is to find out the effects of the financial ratio on the prices of the stocks of compass index 100 companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2015-2017, the financial ratio under study included: return on assets (ROA), current ratio (CR), debt to equity ratio (DER), total assets turnover (TATO), and price earnings ratio (PER). The research population comprised compass index 100 companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2015 to 2017. The sample, consisting of 95 compass index 100 companies, was selected by means of the purposive sampling technique. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that return on assets (ROA), current ratio (CR) & total assets turnover (TATO) had a significant positive effect on stock prices, while the debt to equity ratio (DER) & price earnings ratio (PER) had no effect on stock price.
